Dental Office Manager

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (Based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Dental Office Manager to lead our team and streamline our daily operations during a standard Monday through Friday work week. The ideal candidate is a "revenue-minded" leader who understands the delicate balance between providing elite patient care and maintaining a highly productive schedule. You will be the engine of the practice, overseeing everything from front-office administration and insurance coordination to team leadership and financial growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring the practice runs on time and meets daily production goals.

  • Financial Management: Manage the Revenue Cycle (RCM), including insurance verification, claim submission, and aggressive follow-up on outstanding AR.

  • Patient Coordination: Ensure an exceptional patient experience from initial intake through treatment planning and financial arrangements.

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and schedule front-office staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Treatment Presentation: Confidently present complex treatment plans to patients, overcoming objections and securing financial commitments.

  • Software Mastery: Utilize dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar) to audit ledgers and generate performance reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dental office management or high-level front-office administration.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of dental terminology, CDT coding, and insurance PPO/HMO nuances.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team and handle conflict resolution with professionalism.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for patient advocacy and staff direction.

  • Efficiency: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical environment without losing attention to detail.
