Dental Hygienist – Smiles on Clark

Compensation: $65 -$75/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Flexible one day per week schedule
Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursday with stable schedule of 8:15am - 5:00pm (option of shorter day if preferred)

Responsibilities:
Your Impact as a Dental Hygienist
As a vital clinical partner, you will elevate patient health by providing preventive care, education, and a seamless clinical experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and updating X‑rays, chart notes, and maintaining related equipment
- Recording detailed clinical narratives, probing depths, and documentation for claims
- Maintaining strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Sterilizing instruments and managing hygiene supplies
- Performing Prophylaxis and Scaling & Root Planing
- Applying fluoride varnish and placing sealants
- Educating patients on oral health and the mouth‑body connection
- Supporting patient and team relations with professionalism and empathy
- Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized clinical environment
Qualifications:
What You Bring
- California Licensed Hygienists
- Current certification from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A compassionate, patient‑centered approach
- Ability to connect with diverse patient populations
