Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and kid‑friendly Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! In this role, you’ll provide high‑quality preventive care while helping children feel safe, supported, and confident during their dental visits. You’ll perform thorough cleanings, take diagnostic x‑rays, complete patient screenings, and partner with the dentist during exams and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary
- Perform gentle prophylaxis to patients
- Perform scaling, root planning and selective polishing for patients as appropriate
- Take radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentist
- Apply cavity-preventative agents, such as fluoride and sealants
- Foster a friendly and comfortable environment for children to alleviate dental anxiety
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients and parents
- Clean units and help sterilize instruments
- Collaborate with our team of dental professionals to ensure the best patient care
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure in the State of Indiana
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
