Newtown Dentistry is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team full-time in a fee-for-service (FFS) only practice focused on relationship-based, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive therapies
  • Conduct patient screenings, periodontal charting, and oral health assessments
  • Take and interpret digital radiographs in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care strategies
  • Assist in developing individualized hygiene treatment plans
  • Administer fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services within scope of practice
  • Support diagnosis by identifying conditions requiring doctor evaluation
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records
  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Help create a positive, comfortable, and relationship-focused patient experience
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Active Pennsylvania Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree)
  • Successful completion of the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination and clinical licensing requirements
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Local anesthesia certification preferred (if applicable)
  • Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred
  • Strong periodontal knowledge and patient education skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to compassionate patient care
