Newtown Dentistry is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team full-time in a fee-for-service (FFS) only practice focused on relationship-based, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive therapies
- Conduct patient screenings, periodontal charting, and oral health assessments
- Take and interpret digital radiographs in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care strategies
- Assist in developing individualized hygiene treatment plans
- Administer fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services within scope of practice
- Support diagnosis by identifying conditions requiring doctor evaluation
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and infection control standards
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure exceptional patient care
- Help create a positive, comfortable, and relationship-focused patient experience
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree)
- Successful completion of the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination and clinical licensing requirements
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Local anesthesia certification preferred (if applicable)
- Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred
- Strong periodontal knowledge and patient education skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to compassionate patient care
