We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and provide preventative dental care, including cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and X-rays.
  • Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and the importance of dental care.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and support the dentist during procedures.
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Document visits in our electronic medical record system.
  • Support a warm, welcoming environment for patients — many of whom are underserved and in need of accessible, high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in dental hygiene and Illinois RDH license (Required)
  • Certification in local anesthesia (Required)
  • Nitrous oxide and sealant application certifications (Preferred)
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (Required)
  • Previous experience in general dentistry and working with patients across the lifespan (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $31.00 - $37.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
