We are seeking a Dental Front Office Coordinator to collaborate with our team to improve our patient’s dental health and smiles. As a Dental Front Office Coordinator, you will deliver best-in-class patient care and focus on putting every patient first, every visit. Schedule: Full time hours and a schedule that creates a great work/life balance with NO weekends!
- Monday: 8:00am-6:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am-5:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am-5:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am-6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am-2:00pm
- Saturdays: Off
- Sundays: Off
Responsibilities:
Dental Front Office Coordinator
- Proactively follow up on pending, delayed, or partially paid claims by contacting payers and resubmitting or correcting claims as needed.
- Review and correct misapplied payments, duplicate charges, and unapplied credits; coordinate timely patient or payer refunds when necessary.
- Conduct systematic follow up on overdue patient balances using phone calls, texts/emails, and documented payment arrangements.
- Discuss balances and set up payment plans that align with practice policy and third party financing options.
- Escalate chronic delinquent accounts to internal collections, outside agencies, or small claims processes in accordance with office protocol.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer rules, and office financial policies in all insurance and billing activities.
- Partner with front desk, hygienists, and doctors to ensure estimates are accurate, treatment is scheduled with financial clarity, and same day collections opportunities are maximized.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of prior experience working in dentistry or medical is required
- Knowledge of Dental operations is preferred
- Technical expertise in dental insurance benefits is preferred
- Must possess a strong desire to meet performance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
