  • Clinical Preparation: Set up treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials tailored to specific procedures.

  • Radiology: Take and process high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) in strict accordance with state regulations.

  • Infection Control: Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical equipment following rigorous infection control and OSHA standards.

  • Patient Education: Empower patients by providing clear instructions on oral hygiene, post-procedure care, and preventative dental practices.

  • Administrative Support: Update patient medical histories accurately, assist with scheduling, and ensure a smooth patient flow throughout the day.

  • Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and coordinate with leadership for timely replenishment.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA privacy regulations and office safety protocols to protect patient information and staff well-being.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification: Current Dental Assistant certification or license as required by state regulations.

  • Radiology: X-ray certification (preferred or required based on specific state guidelines).

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain clinical concepts to patients clearly.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental software and electronic charting.

  • Physical & Mental Aptitude: Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a busy clinical setting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Emergency Preparedness: Current BLS/CPR certification is highly preferred.

  • Team Synergy: A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively alongside dentists, hygienists, and administrative teams.

  • Clinical Excellence: A deep commitment to providing compassionate care and creating a positive patient experience.
