Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Travel Periodontal Dental Assistant to join our team in Tacoma, WA!

As a Travel Periodontal Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the periodontist to ensure efficient clinical operations and provide an outstanding patient experience throughout every stage of treatment.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday - Thursday 8-5

Responsibilities

• Assist the periodontist during periodontal procedures and surgeries

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records, as permitted by state regulations

• Educate patients on periodontal procedures and post-operative care

• Travel between assigned practice locations as needed

• Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation

$28-$30/hour
