Dental Associates of Hampton Cove is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our supportive and close-knit team. Led by Dr. Kristen Bentley, who has proudly served the community for over 6 years, our practice is built on strong patient relationships and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (2 per month)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Assist the dentist with procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, root canals, extractions, and Invisalign
- Take dental X-rays and perform iTero scans
- Fabricate quality temporaries
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments per OSHA standards
- Record patient histories and update charts
- Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
- Support scheduling and light front office duties as needed
- Maintain inventory and ensure operatories are stocked
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Ability to take high-quality radiographs
- Experience assisting with a variety of procedures
- Strong reliability and teamwork mindset
- Passion for patient care and dentistry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dentrix experience
- Dental Assistant certification
- Experience with digital imaging and impressions
- Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
