Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the following:
Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures
Place and remove brackets, wires, bands, and orthodontic appliances
Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed
Prepare and efficiently turn over treatment rooms
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and at-home care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow sterilization protocols
You will be required to possess the following:
Prior orthodontic assisting experience required
Active dental assisting certification/license per Oregon requirements
Strong understanding of orthodontic workflow and procedures
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, high-volume practice
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills
