What Youll Be Doing
As a Dental Assistant at HCC, youll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental services. Your day may include:
• Instrument Preparation & Sterilization • Disinfecting instruments and preparing trays to ensure a sterile and organized environment for procedures. • Patient Care & Records Management • Prepare patients for dental work • Maintain accurate patient records • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all treatment information. • Laboratory Responsibilities • Take the lead on initial dental lab needs, including pouring and trimming models and creating custom trays. • Advanced Imaging & Diagnostics • Take intraoral and panoramic x-rays • Assist in diagnostic procedures to provide optimal care.
Job Qualifications and Special Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required • Dental Assistant training is required • State certified dental x-rays preferred, willing to train • Professional and accurate written and oral communication skills • Ability to operate hardware and software • Manual dexterity and visual acuity • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
