Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) / Dental Assistant (DA) – Pediatric Dentistry

Our modern, boutique-style private practice in Mission Valley/San Diego is seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/DA) to join our growing team. We specialize in pediatric dentistry and pride ourselves on providing a positive, comfortable environment for both our patients and team.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-time, 4 days per week
- No weekends
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures
- Prepare patients for treatments and ensure comfort
- Take X-rays and perform prophys for preventative care
- Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Qualifications
For Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Applicants:
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
For Dental Assistant (DA) Applicants:
- California Dental Assistant certification requirements completed
- Current Radiation Safety certification
- Current Coronal Polishing certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Experience working in a pediatric dental office preferred
Pay & Compensation
- $24–$27 per hour, based on experience
