LSU School of Dentistry Comprehensive & Biomantle Dentistry Department is currently seeking motivated applicants for the position of Dental Assistant 1 or 2 at our New Orleans location.

Job Duties and Other Information
Duties and responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Appointment Type: Classified Probational
Career Progression: This position is part of the career progression group May be filled as a Dental Assistant 1 or 2.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined by department.
Work Location: 1100 Florida Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119
Compensation: This is a Civil Service Position. There is a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $15.05 per hour for the Dental Assistant 2 title and $14.06 for the Dental Assistant 1 title with an additional $2.25 per hour worked available for candidates that hold a current DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification and or additional $1.50 for EDDA (Expanded Dental Duty Dental Assistant).

Following Policies and Procedures: The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws.

Pre-employment Drug testing and Criminal Background check are required.
