What You'll Do:

The Demand Planner is responsible for evaluating and consolidating the demand for their respective business unit. In addition, they are responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating the regional demand plan for the US market. The Demand Planner works in collaboration with the Product Line Managers, Commercial/Merchandising Teams, Sales Development Analyst and the Supply Planning Teams to ensure the demand reflects the customer demand to support orders, drive sales, minimize excess inventory and meet financial targets.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Demand Review and Scorecard (Sales, SPA, OTIF) in monthly S&OP cycle
  • Review the rolling 12-month demand plans and evaluate vs financial targets
  • Evaluate results of excess inventory sell off identified at previous month Supply Review
  • Identify and mitigate existing service or financial risks
  • Confirm new products and those at end-of-life
  • Work cross-functionally to understand the product range, financial targets, and sales strategies
  • Develop A/B/C product approach to planning to manage risk and optimize effort
  • Measure and report on forecast performance
  • Challenge range efficiency and highlight non-performers to Product Management and Commercial/Merchandising teams
  • Review in-season sales compared to forecasts/orders and make updates based on trend and sales input
  • Update forecast tool (GDP/GSPC) with all forecast changes and ASPs by set deadlines
  • Communicate forecast changes to Planning and Marketing team including context behind changes by set deadlines
  • Create, run, and manage all reporting to support demand plans 
What We're Looking For :

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field plus 2-3 years of experience in a supply chain, demand planning, or similar role.

 

Other qualifications include:

  • Passion for baseball and/or softball preferred
  • Previous experience working with large data sets, high SKU count, a large number of different colors, sizes, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an intermediate to advanced level of Excel
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make updates/recommendations based on analysis
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • SAP experience preferred

 

 

What We’ll Provide

 

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $70,000-$75,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
