Description At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're looking for an experienced leader to build and manage our AWSI Strategic Industries (AWSI) Demand Generation team. You will be responsible for leading a team of representatives who drive pipeline generation through AI-enhanced account development and customer engagement. Our Demand Generation team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to identify high-value opportunities within AWSI, focusing on solving customer challenges to accelerate AWS adoption and growth. Key job responsibilities - Leadership - Build and lead a team of Demand Generation Representatives responsible for pipeline generation with our most strategic customers - Coaching - Provide ongoing mentorship and development to optimize team performance in AI-powered prospecting and customer engagement methodologies - Strategy - Partner with AWS account teams and sales leadership to develop targeted engagement strategies focusing on business unit leaders beyond traditional IT contacts - Delivery - Oversee systematic identification of customer problems and matching AWS solutions - Talent Development - Enable team members on best practices for account penetration and solution mapping techniques Key job responsibilities - 5+ years of experience in demand generation, marketing, or sales experience with three plus years of people leadership experience. - 3+ years of experience in B2B, enterprise Cloud, SaaS, or technology. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. - Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation and revenue targets. - Experienced coaching and developing early career sales talent. - Experience with CRM systems (SFDC) for lead tracking, pipeline management, and sales reporting - Experience with opportunity qualification frameworks such (e.g., BANT). Other: - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. - Experience with sales engagement tools (e.g., Boost) and prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn). - Familiarity with marketing-to-sales lead flow processes (e.g., MQL to SQL, SQL to SQO). - Knowledge of at least one of the following industries: Automotive and Manufacturing; Energy and Utilities; Financial Services; Healthcare and Lifesciences; Media, Entertainment, Games, and Sports (MEGs); Retail and Consumer Goods; and Telecommunications. - Track record of developing talent pipelines and progressing individual contributors into expanded sales roles A day in the life About the team Diverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
