Job TitlePrepares equipment for delivery to the customer for the purpose of demonstration, rental or sale, and instructs customer on basic equipment operating procedures. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or senior technicians.Basic Functions And ResponsibilitiesOperates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the pickup and delivery processFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignmentsTransports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilitiesMaintains records of pickup and deliveries, and obtains necessary signatures and receiptsMaintains all required certifications in line with DOTAccounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned dutiesMaintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good conditionEnsure proper tie down and transport of equipment without damageAssist customers in the safe and proper usage of equipment and recommended additional equipment and supplies to help them perform each task more efficientlyProper usage of company credit cards for fuel and maintenance and submission of receipts on a weekly basisFollow safety procedures for loading and unloading of equipmentWash and prep equipment for in-shop service work or return to customerAssist in cleaning and washing company vehicles as necessaryCoordinate prep of envirocrates, pallets, planter stands, etc. for return to John DeereCell phone is for company usage only.
