About Us
Charlotte’s Coffee Shop is a family-owned business proudly serving the Dubuque community since 2015. We operate three locations — our original White Street location in downtown Dubuque, our Hartig Drug drive-thru location, and our newest Cedar Cross location featuring both drive-thru and sit-in service. We take pride in delivering quality coffee and a warm experience to every customer.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and physically capable part-time Delivery Driver to support daily operations across our three locations. This is a part-time role working approximately 3 days per week, with shifts available in the early morning or late afternoon. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and comfortable handling heavy items.
Schedule & Hours
- Part-time: approximately 3 days per week, 5-10 hours per week
- Shifts available: early morning (before open) or late afternoon
- Schedule may vary week to week based on operational needs
- Weekend availability is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Transport supplies, product orders, and equipment between our three Dubuque locations
- Load, unload, and safely handle heavy items including beverage supplies, equipment, and bulk orders
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to each location
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle at all times
- Communicate proactively with store managers regarding delivery status or issues
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines
- Complete basic delivery logs and paperwork as required
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable loading and unloading a vehicle
- Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
- Familiarity with the Dubuque area preferred
- Must be available for early morning or late afternoon shifts
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required
