Operating a tractor trailer safely is essential, so a valid Class A CDL is required. You'll be unloading various products using a two-wheeled hand cart, so physical strength and stamina are crucial; lifting and moving items in a variety of sizes, with boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Moving product with the two-wheeled cart may have a combined weight up to 500 pounds. Familiarity with software for pre-trip inspections and invoice verification, along with the ability to maintain delivery schedules, is equally important. You should be comfortable working in diverse weather conditions and have strong communication skills to interact with customers.
