Warehouse Delivery Assistant

Shift 6:30 am - job is done

Pay Range $18/hr.

A Warehouse Delivery Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from the warehouse to customers, combining warehouse operations with delivery logistics. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured for transport

Order Accuracy: Check delivery orders against paperwork to ensure correct items are dispatched

Packing & Labeling: Pack orders securely, apply correct labels, and prepare them for shipment

Route & Delivery Support: Help drivers navigate to delivery locations and assist with route planning

Customer Interaction: Handle customer queries, complaints, and return of undelivered items

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate delivery logs, update records, and report discrepancies

Vehicle & Equipment Checks: Perform basic vehicle checks and report issues to drivers

Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations during all warehouse and delivery activities

Team Collaboration: Work alongside warehouse staff, drivers, and other team members to meet operational goals

Required Skills & Qualifications

Physical Fitness: Able to lift up to 50–100 lbs, stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods

Manual Dexterity: Skilled in handling packages, pallets, and equipment.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer service and team coordination

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory software, scanning devices, and GPS navigation

Attention to Detail: Accurate record-keeping and quality control of goods.

Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and meet delivery deadlines.

Driver’s License: Preferred for operating delivery vehicles or warehouse equipment

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training available for new hires
