Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Cleveland, United States. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering packages to our valued customers in a timely manner.
Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport packages to designated locations.
Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and organization.
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle maintenance issues to management.
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the logistics team.
Qualifications
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record • Proven ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with route planning tools • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing delivery records • Physical stamina to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous experience in delivery or professional driving preferred • Commercial Drivers License (CDL) may be required depending on vehicle type • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands • Proficiency in using mobile devices and delivery management software
