Deburring Operator/polisher Job description Specializing in minimally invasive devices and life science systems, Schivo Medical offers a comprehensive range of outsourced solutions to medical device and life science companies from innovative design to reliable manufacturing services. Our world-class design and manufacturing facilities comprise of combined 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space across Schivo Medicals two manufacturing facilities as well as our experience within the minimally invasive surgery and life sciences. We understand that we are not just manufacturing products, we are making components and finished devices that will be used to save or improve a patients life. Deburring operator/polisher Position Overview: Work in a team of 5-8 members, primarily responsible for deburring, buffing, and polishing of medical device instruments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow work instruction Use poser tools to remove fine burrs Use microscope to inspect your work Use buffing motors to smooth, polish and deburr Use Ultrasonic cleaning machine medical device components Maintain necessary logs Provide necessary information to other team members and departments Trouble shoot minor errors Report job status/progress to members of management team. Maintain quality, safety control standards Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications): Good hand to eye coordination Ability to speak, read (English) Excellent communications skills Flexible schedule, dependable and possessing willingness to learn new techniques Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to concentrate on a single task for prolonged periods of time Physical requirements: Ability to stand for several hours Ability to lift 30lbs *looking for first and second shift 7am-3:30pm or 3-11:30pm (Saturdays needed); Salary $18-22.
