Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to serve as the Dean's Assistant for our General Education and Transfer Programs area. The ideal candidate provides high-level administrative, project and clerical support to the Dean of General Education and Transfer Programs. The role acts as a liaison between the Dean, faculty, students, and external stakeholders, while also managing schedules and calendars, confidential information and other daily academic operations.
Required Education/Experience:
- Associate degree and four (4) years of clerical, customer service, or office experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor degree in any related field.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent technical skills.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills is crucial to the success of this role.
