Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Deal Control Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to live deal flow and paid analytical work
Support investors, fund managers, and operators by monitoring, controlling, and validating transaction execution
Build a verified track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers: Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, senior consulting, or finance/risk professionals with 5+ years of experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal oversight, modeling, or control experience
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical, monitoring, or analytical skills
Depending on certification approvals, Deal Control Analysts may be engaged for:
Track and validate deal execution against agreed terms
Ensure all financial, operational, and regulatory controls are in place and followed
Identify discrepancies, exceptions, or risks in live transactions
Provide oversight for deal integrity and compliance
Support Quality of Earnings (QoE) reviews and operational diligence
Evaluate transaction documentation, financial models, and risk controls
Assist in risk mitigation and control procedures for deals
Prepare dashboards, summaries, and control reports for stakeholders
Track corrective actions and resolution of issues
Help implement standardized deal control processes
Note: Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Complete the Deal Control Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Control, Risk Assessment, Due Diligence)
Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility on the platform
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Scores reflect accuracy, diligence, and performance in deal monitoring and control.
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, compliance, or performance issues
Deal Control Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit or sell securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or fiduciary capacity
All work is strictly limited to analytical, monitoring, control, and support functions, in compliance with applicable securities laws.
