SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Distribution Lead for a large, well-known client in Macon, GA (31216). As a Distribution Lead, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring the efficient management of distribution center activities including inventory, receiving, paint mixing, and shipping within an aviation and industrial coatings environment.
The Distribution Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring production and inventory goals are met with efficiency and urgency. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, safety-focused, and experienced in distribution or warehouse leadership roles.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch). Little to no overtime required.
Responsibilities of the Distribution Lead:- Manage all aspects of the Distribution Center operations.
- Oversee inventory management processes in coordination with the DC Operations Manager.
- Mix paint batches based on manufacturer standards and formulas.
- Perform paint color matching using systems, spray-outs, and quality control methods.
- Ensure accountability for all receiving processes.
- Pick, package, and ship orders according to company standards.
- Maintain safety, productivity, and quality across all distribution activities.
- Ensure warehouse remains clean, organized, and efficient at all times.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding orders, inventory, and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with leadership and quality teams to meet production goals.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and AS9100D work instructions.
- Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Cross-train and perform all distribution center tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications of the Distribution Lead:- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics leadership required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse management processes.
- Ability to mix and match paint using formulas and quality standards (preferred).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
