Our client, a Banking company, is looking for a DB2 DBA- z/Os/ Mainframe, Python for their Chandler, AZ/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Daily responsibilities include full life cycle management of DB2 mainframe databases from analysis through decommission.
  • Additionally, the Individual will be involved in DB2 related z/Os Database initiatives, REXX programming and Python programing and SMF extraction for DB2 performance data.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of DB2 Database experience
  • In-depth knowledge of SMF data and REXX
  • Working Knowledge of Splunk and Python programming
  • Application development, database replication and database administration skill set with Db2 on mainframe.
