Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing medical team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, you will provide direct patient care, monitor patient health, and ensure the general comfort and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Administer medications and document patient responses in accordance with state laws and facility policies.
- Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and monitor healing progress.
- Assist with the collection of specimens and perform other basic diagnostic procedures.
- Observe patients for notable changes in health status and report observations promptly to the medical team.
- Help patients with daily activities and ensure their personal hygiene, comfort, and safety.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Tennessee.
- Valid CPR / BLS certification.
- Previous clinical or long-term care experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, observational, and interpersonal skills.
