Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will play a key role in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning, analyze and resolve challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role involves working on medium-to-high profile database and database services projects, focusing on analytics, operational reporting, and Microsoft technology stack solutions, including Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of issues and consult with others to meet deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide analysis and design support for data-related projects and enhancements across all SDLC environments, including problem tickets, work requests, root cause analysis, and issue resolution paths.
• Partner closely with technology teams, resources, and business partners to address compliance, performance, security, stability, scalability, and speed to market.
• Manage complex Always On configurations with SQL Server 2019 - 2022.
• Communicate ongoing support and deployment of data architecture and policy principles to improve enterprise data usage.
• Recommend, mentor, train, and monitor resource allocations, project skills alignment, and resource forecasting.
• Develop and maintain documentation on implementation steps, technical procedures, and knowledge base materials.

• 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Always On, and SSIS (including SSISDB).

• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week (hybrid schedule).
• Must be within a commutable distance of the working location.
• No visa transfer or sponsorship available for this role.

Pay Range: $55 - $60

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
