Database Administrator - Oracle Oracle EBS SQL

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Database Administrator -Oracle, Oracle EBS, SQL in Tucson, AZ.

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to support a complex, high-availability production environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across Oracle and SQL Server platforms while contributing to modernization initiatives, including significant cloud migration efforts to Azure.

This is a highly collaborative team environment where no two days are the same-ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems, working across technologies, and growing toward data engineering or analytics-focused work over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Oracle and SQL Server databases in a production environment
• Perform database patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
• Support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) from a database perspective, including patching exposure
• Manage and maintain Oracle Database Appliances, including patching and system maintenance
• Execute and maintain WebLogic and database patching processes
• Develop and maintain advanced Unix/shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis across database and application layers
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation
• Maintain clear and thorough technical documentation
