As a Database Admin II on the Technology team, a typical day for you will include:

(Required qualifications)
Experience:
4+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Strong experience with database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of database security concepts and experience implementing security measures.
Experience with database backup and recovery procedures, including disaster recovery planning.
Skills:
Familiarity with database migration and upgrade procedures.
Candidate must be customer focused, goal oriented, and have a passion for success
Experience and proven ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with business and IT stakeholders and senior leadership.
Able to lead other database staff regarding best practices and techniques
Able to clearly document complex database systems and structures including architectures, relationships, and configurations
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related field
Schedule / in-office requirements:
Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
