Role: Data Storyteller Manager, Marketing
Location: Remote

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of data-storytellers in delivering insightful and actionable data stories to a diverse set of business stakeholders, focusing on the business need, translating data into digestible insights and delivering actionable recommendations
  • Identify emerging measurement needs across the business, and lead menu of services development, creating programs to solve for and/or improve processes; manage competing priorities effectively in alignment with business importance
  • Facilitate strategic conversations with business stakeholders and team members to embed data across the marketing and client lifecycle to understand the impact marketing is delivering to the business and inform strategic recommendations and decision making
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define, scope, and validate new data-driven solutions to evolving business needs and questions
  • Present insights and recommendations directly to senior leaders
  • Deliver digestible, insight-led presentations from diverse marketing data sources (such as omnichannel and customer). Synthesize data and recommend appropriate visualizations to convey the most meaningful information for stakeholders using multiple channels including PowerPoint, dashboards, and infographics; develop storyboard, define target persona, summarize key messaging, and provide client-ready content
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand business objectives and define key performance indicators and relevant benchmarks to evaluate performance; identify emerging themes, both internal and external trends, and lead programs and strategies to execution
  • Analyze inputs to marketing strategy (e.g., target audience, content strategy) and the impact of marketing investments; identify growth opportunities; present key learnings to inform business decisions; and answer key questions across multiple data sources including CRM, digital, social, content marketing, finance, and other customer data
  • Apply analytic reasoning to draw out insights in alignment to key business priorities, firm-wide priorities, and external factors; explain the logic and reasoning to stakeholders; deliver recommendations in alignment with strategy to engage the stakeholders in decision making
  • Flag and monitor data quality to ensure confidence in the data used for analysis
