Data Remediation Analyst / Engineer Analyst
Job Description:
Performs data analysis, cleansing, normalization, validation, and remediation activities to improve CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards.
Required Skills:

Key Responsibilities:
" Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for report generation.
" Work with relational databases, with a preference for experience in Postgres.
" Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
" Ensure data privacy and security by implementing proper data segmentation and access controls.
" Optimize and troubleshoot existing reports and data pipelines for performance and accuracy.
" Leverage ServiceNow for reporting purposes, including creating and customizing reports as needed.
" Participate in ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
" Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
" Document reporting processes, data models, and workflows for future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
" 3 to 5 years of experience in report generation and data analysis.
" Service Now CMDB Experience is recommended
" Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
" Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis is a plus.
" Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services is a plus
" Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (Postgres is a plus).
" Knowledge of data modeling, data privacy, and data segmentation techniques.
" Hands-on experience with Tableau for developing dashboards and visualizations.
" Familiarity with ServiceNow, particularly in the context of reporting, is a plus.
" Understanding of ETL processes and tools is a plus.
" Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
" Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
" Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex data challenges.
