Data Governance Specialist Retail (Onsite Pleasanton, CA)
We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to support customer data quality, governance, and compliance in a retail environment.
This is a 40-hour per week, 8+-month contract (extensions possible), 100% onsite role in Pleasanton, CA.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Improve and maintain customer data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency)
Apply and enforce data governance policies, standards, and rules
Maintain data catalog, metadata, and data lineage
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in data governance and data quality.
Strong understanding of customer data in retail environments
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders (including C-suite)
Knowledge of data privacy, PII, and compliance requirements.

Compensation: $65/hr. - $68.96/hr.
