We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to support customer data quality, governance, and compliance in a retail environment. The role will focus on improving data accuracy, enforcing governance standards, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Improve and maintain customer data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency).
Apply and enforce data governance policies, standards, and rules.
Maintain data catalog, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to align governance practices.
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
Proven experience in data governance and data quality management.
Strong understanding of customer data in retail environments.
Knowledge of data privacy, PII, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
