Support enterprise data governance initiatives by partnering with business and technology stakeholders.
Assist in maintaining the enterprise business glossary, data catalog, and metadata repositories.
Collaborate with data owners and data stewards to define and document critical data elements, business definitions, and data lineage.
Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, identify issues, and coordinate remediation efforts.
Participate in data governance councils and working groups, documenting decisions and tracking action items.
Help establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Perform data profiling and validation to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and quality concerns.
Support master data management (MDM) and reference data initiatives.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate governance metrics and progress to leadership.
Promote data literacy and governance best practices throughout the organization.
Master's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, or related disciplines.
Understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data stewardship principles.
Experience documenting business definitions, data lineage, and data ownership.
Knowledge of data quality concepts and experience analyzing data quality issues.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise data governance tools such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, or Informatica Axon.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake.
Understanding of master data management (MDM) concepts.
Exposure to data privacy and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, etc.).
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
Knowledge of Python or scripting for data analysis is a plus.
Curious and eager to learn new technologies and governance practices.
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
Collaborative team player who enjoys working across business and technical organizations.
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
Passion for improving data quality and enabling data-driven decision making.
