Description

Immediate need for a Data/Financial Analyst for a position in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is 08+ month’s contract opportunity with long-term potential located in McLean, VA. Please review the job description below: Job ID: 18-01872 Key Responsibilities:/Key Requirements and Technology Experience: The individual will be responsible for developing financial reports for project portfolio as it pertains. Internally developed software capitalization. Forecasting the amortization associated with internally developed software projects. Day 2 reporting for hardware/software acquisitions that includes forecasting the renewal of software licensing agreements, maintenance and support agreements, and depreciation associated with hardware and software assets. Developing dashboards with drill down capabilities in Tableau and MicroStrategy. Advanced analysis using pivot tables and Excel. The initial development will involve development in VBA, Microsoft Access, Excel, Hyperion (leveraging Smartview) while the data mart that will be used for delivering to end users is finalized. The data mart is built on MSSQL with MicroStrategy. Dashboards can also be developed using Tableau. Strong knowledge of IT, financial accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting are strong encouraged. Experience with Tableau would be a recommended as well as familiarity with software development capitalization methodology (SOP98-1 & ASC 350-40), financial planning, budgeting, and IT Service Costing (TBM Methodology) is a plus. Other Skills – Excel, VBA, Access, PeopleSoft, MicroStrategy, SQL Server.
