We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Scanning & Data Entry Clerk to assist our team in a critical back-file conversion project. The primary goal of this role is to eliminate a backlog of physical case files by transitioning them into our secure digital database. Key Responsibilities
Document Preparation: Organize, sort, and prepare physical case files for high-volume scanning.
Digital Imaging: Operate scanning equipment to create clear, high-quality digital copies of sensitive records.
Data Entry: Accurately index and label digital files according to departmental naming conventions.
Quality Assurance: Review scanned images against physical originals to ensure completeness, legibility, and accuracy.
Backlog Management: Work efficiently to meet daily scanning quotas and reduce the existing file backlog.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict adherence to privacy protocols while handling sensitive and protected case materials.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Prior experience in data entry, document imaging, or records management is highly preferred.
Quality Focus: A proven track record in Quality Assurance (QA)you catch the small errors that others miss.
Discretion: Experience handling confidential or legal materials with the highest level of integrity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic scanning software and data entry interfaces.
Physical Requirements: Ability to handle file boxes and sit/stand for extended periods during scanning sessions.
