Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Environment


A fast-paced and growing distribution company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support daily customer service and operations functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, has excellent accuracy and typing speed, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service and data accuracy.


Key Responsibilities


  • Enter and update customer orders, invoices, and account information into internal systems
  • Verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies before processing
  • Support customer service team with order status updates and account inquiries
  • Process high-volume data entry with speed and attention to detail
  • Maintain organized records and documentation
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding order changes, inventory updates, and customer requests
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and administrative support as needed
  • Ensure all information is entered accurately and in a timely manner


Qualifications


  • Previous experience in data entry, customer service, administrative support, or distribution environments preferred
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
