Inputs information from a variety of sources into a computer database. Must meet standards for production volume, accuracy, and completeness. Generates reports based on input data. Requires strong attention to detail, and good communication skills, and the ability to work well under various stressful and time-sensitive situations. Ability to follow instructions without supervisory follow-up. Experience with MS Office.
Validate, process, and post packing slips. Obtain vendor documentation as needed. Provide accurate, timely, and high-quality work in a high-volume transactional environment. Identify and resolve problems encountered during receiving and material movement transactions using approved processes and procedures. Must have a basic understanding of Receiving, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Accounting, and Supply Chain processes/procedures.
What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications (technology/application/software, etc.) required?
SAP experience (at least basic).
Fast and accurate typing / 10-key by touch.
Microsoft Outlook (email-heavy role).
Microsoft Excel (working from spreadsheets).
General supply chain or receiving background.
