Enters data from loan applica

Job Description
Enters data from loan applications and related documentation into a commercial loan management system while ensuring data quality, accuracy and completeness.
Retrieves and updates information on existing loans, as required.
Examines documents for missing or invalid data.
Identifies and corrects erroneous transactions.
Locates and assists in resolving out of balance transactions.

Position Title: Data Entry Clerk Contractor (3 5%2B yrs)
Reason for open position: New Need 
Position Location: Remote, open to any location 
Ability to work remote: Yes, fully remote 
Acceptable time zone(s): EST, Some flexibility can be discussed if located in hub outside of EST. 
Days of the week: MF 40 hours 
Working Hours: MF 85 EST 
OT: No

Intended length of Assignment: 09/01/2026 
Potential for Contract Extension: Yes 
This position is contract with the right to hire if a need becomes available.
Manager will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a fulltime  employee.
will not sponsor work visas if the decision is made to hire the contingent worker. 

Function of the Group/Initiatives:
We oversee IRA accounts. We support our marker partners.
The market partners are the ones who speak to the clients then they come to us to prepare forms that the clients need to sign.
We process all the markets requests on IRA.
This person will be helping with sending out eforms.
We have an extremely high volume.
Industry background: Private banking experience, IRA backgrounds nice to have
Team Dynamic: 12 full time employees, 1 contractor spread across 4 individual teams across sections of the US 

Roles/Responsibilities:
Processing electronic signatures
IRS transactional forms; processing forms
Emailing market partners
Receive forms,
Scanning documentation to accounts
May learn how to prepare forms 

Must Have Skills:
Strong written and Verbal communication
Extremely detail oriented and attention to details
Can handle high volume workload

Multitasking skills

Summary:
Responsible for operating data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.

Job Responsibilities:
Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors.
Compare data with source documents, or reenter data in verification format to detect errors.
Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Competencies:
