Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Administrator to support the Sales team within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate sales data, managing customer account information, and supporting day-to-day administrative functions that drive sales success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys working with data, reporting, and cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer, account, and sales data within CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Support the Sales team by managing order details, pricing updates, and customer records.
- Review and verify sales data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Generate reports on sales activity, customer accounts, pricing, and program performance.
- Assist Sales Representatives with administrative tasks, including data tracking and documentation.
- Maintain and update customer lists, contract details, and program information.
- Support onboarding of new customers, including account setup and data entry.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and internal teams to resolve data discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute sales-related communications, updates, and reports.
- Assist with CRM audits and ensure data integrity across sales systems.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, sales support, or administrative roles (manufacturing environment preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
