Data Engineering Manager
Full Time - Remote - US BASED - $160K-$175K
Lead a team of data engineers building and scaling enterprise data products focused on transaction matching systems. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders and senior leadership to define and execute the data engineering roadmap, drive automation initiatives, and deliver scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data architectures. You will remain hands-on with coding, architecture design, and engineering best practices while fostering a collaborative, agile, and high-performing team environment.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of data engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities, with strong expertise in SQL, Java/Groovy, DBT, Snowflake, cloud platforms, and CI/CD practices. Experience in financial services, reconciliation systems, and compliance-driven environments is preferred. Success in this role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead teams and deliver scalable data solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
