A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and seven (7) years experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming;
or A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer science or management information systems.

Ability to evaluate and implement users requests for new data elements and systems and incorporates in the existing shared data environment
Ability to coordinate use of the organizations data to ensure data integrity and control redundancy

Knowledge of maintaining necessary database security
Skilled in monitoring database performance and implementing efficiency improvements
Ability to create test database environment for applications sections, including the creation of necessary libraries and procedures
Ability to develop and maintain database access and procedures to ensure proper control of the databases
Ability to assist programmer/analysts in programming database objects and conduct walk-throughs to ensure database efficiency
Ability to set up and/or execute the jobs necessary to save, retrieve, and recover databases from hardware and software failures within established procedures

Primary Job Duties and Tasks

- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand the
functional and non-functional requirements of the application.
- Translate business requirements into architectural designs that align with business goals.
- Design overall system architecture and define how application components interact.
- Design, develop, and implement software applications using the .NET framework and C#.
- Utilize ASP.NET (or ASP.NET Core) for web application development, including MVC, Web API, and
Blazor for client-side and server-side programming.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Integrate AI capabilities into applications using services such as Azure OpenAI.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies to enhance application functionality and user experience
- Develop user interfaces and ensure the front end is responsive, accessible, and user-friendly.
- Review code, architecture, and design to ensure they meet the standards.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of the application.
- Design strategies for scaling the application efficiently as user demand grows.
- Ensure the application adheres to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Implement DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
