Required skills:
9+ years of hands-on *** Cognos development experience (Report Studio, Framework Manager, Cognos Analytics 11/12)
Strong proficiency in SQL across relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2)
Experience with TM1 / *** Planning Analytics and TI process development is highly preferred
Solid understanding of dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and data warehouse concepts
Familiarity with Cognos lifecycle management, deployment, and multi-environment promotion
Exposure to LDAP/Active Directory integration and Cognos security model configuration
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
This is a Dallas/TX Onsite position.
Mandatory 3 to 5 days work from office
Design, develop, and maintain complex Cognos reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Report Studio, Analysis Studio, and Cognos Analytics (CA 11.x/12.x)
Build and optimize Framework Manager data models, namespaces, and query subjects to support enterprise reporting needs
Develop and manage TM1/Planning Analytics cubes, dimensions, and Turbo Integrator (TI) processes for financial and operational planning
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance BI solutions with minimal oversight
Troubleshoot and resolve report performance issues, metadata layer defects, and data discrepancies across environments
Partner with data warehouse and ETL teams to ensure reporting layer aligns with underlying dimensional and relational models
