Data Center Technician - Data Center Technician I

Location: Hermiston, Oregon (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

As a Data Center Technician, you will serve as a primary resolver for the support team. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You will support and share knowledge of these technologies with team members, possess basic to intermediate system administration skills, and work autonomously to resolve server issues. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the equipment you support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary resolver for support tickets related to hardware infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues efficiently.
  • Support and share knowledge of data center technologies with team members.
  • Utilize system administration skills to resolve server issues independently.
  • Follow directions with attention to detail.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and be receptive to feedback.

Required Qualifications

Work Availability: Candidates must have the availability to work any and all of the following shifts:

Sun - Wed (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM)

Sun - Wed (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)

Sun - Wed (6:00 PM to 4:30 AM)

Sun - Wed (7:30 PM to 6:00 AM)

Wed - Sat (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM)

Wed - Sat (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)

Wed - Sat (6:00 PM to 4:30 AM)

Wed - Sat (7:30 PM to 6:00 AM)

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Benefits may be available to eligible employees.
