Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business teams and programs to identify, define and document analytical reporting needs - baseline problem statement through deep dive analytics
  • Act as a liaison between program managers, technical analysts and functional experts to analyze and design key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance
  • Consolidate information into cohesive and insightful analytical reports for use in decision-making. Generate high quality and insightful recommendations, thereby drive value and program / process efficiency
  • Mine DW platforms to fetch raw data and analyze it to prepare insightful statistical reports
  • Automate the report generation process though use of tools and programing techniques: such as SQL, SAS, DW concepts & advanced Excel
  • Deploy visualization tools and techniques such as Tableau, DataZen, PowerBI & Infographics to build comprehensive dashboards
  • Track and documents changes in functional and business specifications so as to accurately identify and measure KPIs
  • Write detailed procedures for manual and automated reporting processes and for use in training
  • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through detailed and thorough root cause analysis
  • Participate in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility - thereby resolve problems including organizational, analytical & procedural

As a Data Center Security Specialist (individual contributor) you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence in several separate facilities located within a short driving distance. Your constant vigilance will discover physical security gaps and shortcomings, which you will drive to fix immediately. You will interface and direct vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning. You will extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data. You will make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls. You will direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions. You will write and implement security process and procedures. Your position will require you to write reports, create presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
