Job Description:

Technical Support Tech - Technical Support Tech I

Location: Herndon, Virginia (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

This role provides technical support to end users for a variety of issues. The position involves identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems through ticketing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Perform break/fix work, including diagnosing issues and replacing hardware components (drives, memory, PSUs, full server units).
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
  • Report to a supervisor or manager.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area is required.

Hands on technical experience with IT hardware

Technical Skills: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the technical support field is necessary.
