Job Title: Data Center Low Voltage Technician
Location: Dallas Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $27-$39/hr. based on experience and project requirements.
Schedule: 50-60+ hours per week. Overtime may be available based on project needs.
Assignment Type: W2 contract, project-based assignment, or contract-to-hire depending on client/project.
Role Summary
Pacer Data Center Solutions is hiring Data Center Low Voltage Technicians to support installation of low-voltage systems in mission-critical facilities. These systems may include structured cabling, access control, security cameras, fire alarm support, building automation wiring, monitoring systems, communication systems, and device installation.
Technicians may pull cable, install devices, terminate connections, support testing, label systems, and follow detailed drawings or installation standards.

- Low Voltage Technician
- Senior Low Voltage Technician
- Lead Low Voltage Technician
Key Responsibilities - Pull, route, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling
- Install devices, supports, boxes, pathway, and related infrastructure
- Support access control, security, camera, monitoring, and communication systems
- Read and follow low-voltage drawings and device layouts
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and punch-list completion
- Maintain cable dressing, labeling, and quality standards
- Coordinate with electrical, cabling, controls, and construction teams
- Follow OSHA and client safety requirements
Required Experience - Low voltage, telecom, security, controls, or structured cabling experience
- Ability to read drawings or device layouts preferred
- Experience with commercial or industrial job sites
- OSHA, lift, manufacturer, or low-voltage certifications preferred
- Ability to pass client onboarding requirements, which may include background check, drug screen, and site badging
Preferred Experience - Access control, camera, fire alarm support, BMS/BAS wiring, or security system experience
- Experience in data centers, industrial facilities, hospitals, manufacturing sites, or secure construction environments
Work Environment and Physical Requirements - Active data center construction, mission-critical facility, industrial, or technical infrastructure environment
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in active construction or facility environments
- May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials, tools, equipment, ladders, cable, components, or job-site materials; specific lifting requirements vary by role and assignment
- May require bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching overhead, climbing stairs or ladders, and working from scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other approved lift equipment when authorized
- May require working around active construction activities, moving equipment, elevated work areas, noise, dust, temperature changes, and other job-site conditions
- May require use of PPE, tools, and site-specific safety equipment
- May require overtime, weekends, nights, or rotating schedules depending on project needs
