Job Title: General Laborer Location: Dallas Fort Worth, TX, Pay: $23-$29/hr Schedule: 50-60+ hours per week. Overtime may be available based on project needs. Assignment Type: W2 contract, project-based assignment, or contract-to-hire depending on client/project. Role Summary

Pacer Data Center Solutions is hiring Data Center General Laborers to support construction, site logistics, material movement, cleanup, and trade support on mission-critical data center projects. General Laborers help maintain safe, organized, and productive construction environments for electrical, mechanical, cabling, low-voltage, and general construction teams.

This role is ideal for candidates with prior construction site experience, strong reliability, willingness to work overtime, and interest in growing into skilled trade or technical roles over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move, stage, load, and organize construction materials
  • Support electrical, mechanical, cabling, and construction crews as needed
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Assist with site preparation, protection, and cleanup
  • Operate basic hand tools and job site equipment as directed
  • Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site instructions
  • Help with material tracking, deliveries, and logistics support
  • Work in indoor, outdoor, and active construction environments
Required Experience
  • Construction, industrial, warehouse, logistics, or labor experience preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, stand, bend, and work physically throughout the shift
  • Reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • Willingness to work overtime and long-term project schedules
  • Ability to pass client onboarding requirements, which may include background check, drug screen, and site badging
Preferred Experience
  • Prior commercial construction or industrial site experience
  • Interest in growing into electrical, cabling, mechanical, or other skilled trade roles
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Active data center construction, mission-critical facility, industrial, or technical infrastructure environment
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in active construction or facility environments
  • May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials, tools, equipment, ladders, cable, components, or job-site materials; specific lifting requirements vary by role and assignment
  • May require bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching overhead, climbing stairs or ladders, and working from scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other approved lift equipment when authorized
  • May require working around active construction activities, moving equipment, elevated work areas, noise, dust, temperature changes, and other job-site conditions
  • May require use of PPE, tools, and site-specific safety equipment
  • May require overtime, weekends, nights, or rotating schedules depending on project needs
