Data & Systems Support Specialist
Oxford Virtual Solutions
Full-time year-round / At-Will Position
Primary Function: Oxford Community Schools has existing partnerships with multiple K-12 schools throughout Michigan. The Oxford Virtual Solutions (OVS) team is seeking an individual to work as part of a team to support those partnerships by providing the highest level of customer service and by ensuring all the technology and platforms are set up and working properly.
Qualifications â Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or higher in technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing data across multiple online systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting end users with technical issues.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule during peak times of the year.
- Can efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
- Possess superior organization skills with high attention to detail.
- Capable of problem solving and working well independently.
- Exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude when working with others.
- Possess a sense of urgency around work product and deliverables.
- At ease learning new technology skills, programs, and instructional platforms.
- Ability to effectively identify, define, and respond to challenges and opportunities.
- Willingness to always provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
- An aptitude for various forms of technology.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Google Admin Console management, Chromebook repair, Excel/Google Sheets, PowerSchool, and/or management enrollments in an LMS.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage online platforms (integrations, users, enrollments, courses, clean-up, etc.)
- Support count and subsequent audits by pulling data from PowerSchool and learning platforms
- Create sections and courses in PowerSchool, and register students
- Register Chromebooks in multiple G-Suite admin consoles, maintain configurations and management.
- Manage data and create reports for various platforms.
- Troubleshoot hardware problems and provide timely solutions.
- Investigate and resolve student, teacher, and mentor issues with online platforms and course content.
- Monitor the OVS help desk.
- Update and maintain OVS websites and school partner portals.
- Develop and implement processes to make the overall program more efficient.
- Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance.
- Support the OCS vision and mission.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Reports to: Shared Time Data & Operations Coordinator
Salary Range: $51,189 - $64,485; commensurate with education and experience.
