Job Purpose
Develop the Honda Aircraft Quality Management System (QMS) including identification/resolution of quality problems quickly to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain quality competitiveness. Review multiple data sources to evaluate, summarize and draw conclusions to identify trends that lead to countermeasure activity.
Key Accountabilities
As a company-wide function, develop, maintain, and assure adherence to the Honda Aircraft Quality Management Policy (QMP).
Use engineering fundamentals to identify and resolve issues to improve business practices by leading working groups with Quality representatives and subject matter experts.
Utilize various data sources (internal and external) such as normal warranty issues, surveys, ADs, FAA SDRs, CAs, QNs.
Be a resource to business units and divisions on concerns related to Quality data, corrective action procedures, audits, training, and other items as needed.
Develop clear QMS supplements, standards and procedures.
Look for data trends not previously identified through deep understanding of the data
Support cleaning data to ensure proper classification of market problems
Transform data using SQL, Python, etc to identify trends that lead to actionable problems and defend analysis to promote for countermeasure activity
Generate groupings to support identification and classification of market problems
Utilize modelling, statistics, and trend analysis to forecast future failure rates for known problems
